'Read to the Dogs' at Library this Week

Here is a look at what is going on in Manalapan and Englishtown this week.

Government

The Manalapan Zoning Board is holding their reorganization meeting in the courtroom of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 8 p.m. on Thursday. 

Schools

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education is meeting at their administration building in Englishtown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Administration Building is located at 54 Main Street in Englishtown. 

Christmas Tree Pick-Up

The Department of Public Works will be going around and collecting Christmas Trees on Tuesday. Please place your tree curbside. If you still have not undressed your tree, the last pick-up will take place next Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Recycling 

Recycling will be collected on Wednesday this week for residents who have their garbage picked up on Mondays and Thursdays. 

Read to the Dogs 

Children in first grade and higher can read their favorite book to a cuddly canine this Wednesday at the Monmouth County Library. There will be two “Read to the Dogs” sessions: from 4 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. and another from 4:35 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is required, please call 732-431-7220, ext. 7226 to register.
