Students Head Back to Schools Thursday

Government

All government offices, local, state, and federal will be closed on Wednesday in observance of New Year’s Day. 

The Englishtown Council Reorganization Meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Englishtown Borough Hall. The public is invited to attend. 

Schools

Students from the Manalapan-Englishtown School district and Manalapan High School are returning to classes on Thursday, except for Kindergartners. Kindergarten students return to school on Friday. 

Monmouth County Library 

The Monmouth County Library will be closing at 5 p.m. on Tuesday for New Year’s Eve and will be closed on Wednesday in observance of New Year’s Day. 

New Year’s Eve Bowling Party 

Knob Hill Country Lanes is having a variety of bowling parties on New Year’s Eve day and even one from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for the countdown! For $30 a person, you can enjoy four hours of bowling, a shoe rental, a hot and cold buffet, games and contests, hats and noisemakers, and a champagne toast at midnight.
