Englishtown Fire Department Car Wash

The Englishtown Fire Department is holding a car wash on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walgreens on the corner of Gordons Corner Road and Wilson Avenue in Englishtown. 

Cars will cost $7 to wash and SUV's and trucks cost $10 or more. The rain date for the car wash is scheduled for July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you have any questions, please send an email to efdauxiliary@gmail.com. 

Summer Family Film Festival

The Monmouth County Library will be screening "Monsters, Inc." as a part of  their Summer Family Film Festival. The movie will be shown on Saturday at 10 a.m. Free tickets are available in person only. All children under the age of five must be accompanied by an adult. 

 

Run for Water 5k

The fifth annual Run for Water 5K is coming to Monmouth Battlefield State Park on Saturday. The race benefits Water for People, a nonprofit organization that raises money to provide developing countries with clean drinking water, adequate sanitation and hygiene education. Registration fees are $20 for the 5K and $12 for the Fun Run. There will also be a 50-yard Toddler Dash this year. Buy Strawberries at Wegmans to Donate to Charity

When you buy Driscoll's strawberries at Wegmans this weekend, fifty cents will be donated by Driscoll's to The Children's Home Society of New Jersey in order to help fund their Infant Foster Care Program.
