Chris Jordan from the Asbury Park Press wrote the following article in the July 8th living section:
Green eggs and ham — not just for Dr Seuss anymore. It's now on the breakfast menu of the new Hartigan’s Grille in Englishtown.
"It's eggs and basil pesto and fresh prosciutto," said owner Matt Hartigan, a native of Manalapan. "We like to play around."
Hartigan's Grille — occupying the spot of the former Four Boys Ice Cream and Luncheonette — has been open for the last two months and just recently started offering a dinner menu.
"We have a nice variety for dinner," said Hartigan. "We go around the world, from traditional Irish shepherd’s pie and American steaks and chops to fusion dishes."
Dinner includes a pesto crusted veal chop over a porcini mushroom risotto, a homemade meatloaf and mashed potatoes, and a homemade potato gnocchi in a roasted garlic asiago parmesan cream sauce.
That's rich.
Hartigan's Grille is on 3 Tennent Ave. Call 732-851-7500 or visit www.hartigansgrille.com for more information.

The food and in-restaurant service gets five stars, but we've had problems ordering over the phone. Several times no one answered when we called early in the evening on a Friday or Saturday night. Just got off the phone and was curtly told by a young girl that the grill was closed "because they close at 8pm." We called at 7:30. ???
