Lafayette Mills School

Lafayette Mills School provides elementary education to more than 500 first- through fifth-grade students. Built in 1968 by suburban housing development pioneers Levitt and Sons, Lafayette Mills School was later donated to the board of education. The school was named for the Lafayette Mills, which processed grain, flour, and lumber in the late 1800s.
