Manalapan Man Sells Oxycodone Near Rec Center and HS

A 30-year-old Manalapan man was arrested for selling oxycodone near the Manalapan Recreation Center and Manalapan High School.

Nicholas Szarawarski, 30, of Manalapan, was arrested by a county detective for allegedly selling Oxycodone in Manalapan to him on two separate dates in March, according to an arrest warrant issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office today. Detective Juan Mazariegos of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office was sold Oxycodone from Szarawarski within close proximity of the Manalapan Recreation Center and Manalapan High School on two different dates in early March. Szarawarski was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with intent to distribute a CDS, distributing a CDS, distribution of a CDS within 500 feet of a public park, possession with intent to  distribute a CDS within 500 feet of a public…

Update: 17-Year-Old Girl Ejected From Car Sunroof in Kozloski Accident

The four-car accident sent 3 people to Jersey Shore Medical Center.

Four vehicles are totaled after a 17-year-old girl appeared to have run a red light at Kozloski Road and Center Street at 2:44 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a press release issued by the Freehold Township Police Department. The Freehold Township girl was driving a 2010 Hummer H3 traveling west on Freneau Boulevard. According to police, the girl ran a red light as she crossed Kozloski. She was then struck by a 2012 Honda Accord driven by Amy Latorre, 31, of Perth Amboy, who was traveling southbound on Kozloski. Chemical Odor From Bristol Pa. Plant Fire Wafts Over Manalapan

Lightning strikes Bristol Township, Pa. Dow Chemical plant, causing a fire; the odor can be detected in central New Jersey.

Monmouth County residents are reporting a chemical smell in the air today. It is being blamed on a fire at a Dow Chemical Plant in Bristol, Pa. A lightning strike caused a massive three-alarm blaze at the Dow Chemical facility at Route 413 and State Road in Bristol, Pa. that destroyed two large tanks which held chemicals used in the manufacturing of acrylic paint products, according to local and county officials. Bristol Township is located west of Burlington, NJ, across the Delaware River. Two Instances of Drugs at High School Within a Week

Three students were arrested on April 25 for distribution and possession, and another student was arrested on May 1 for possession of marijuana.

Two incidents involving drugs at Manalapan High School have recently been reported by the Manalapan Police Department. On May 1, police were called to the Manalapan Township High School Regional Learning Academy in reference to a 15-year-old sophomore who was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in class, which were discovered by school officials, police said. Ptl. Kenneth Mikulik arrested the juvenile and charged him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance; he was later released to his parents. On April 25, Manalapan police arrested three high school students who were allegedly selling drugs on school property. Alleged Stalker from Manalapan Indicted by Grand Jury

Fred Azer was indicted on one count of stalking by the Monmouth County Grand Jury.

The Monmouth County Grand Jury indicted Fred Azer of Manalapan Township for allegedly stalking an individual and causing him to fear for his safety, the safety of another, or suffering from emotional distress, according to an indictment issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. On diverse dates between December 22, 2011 and March 1, 2012, Azer allegedly stalked an individual, identified as M.V. in the indictment. According to an arrest warrant, Azer, 35, repeatedly followed another Manalapan resident, Michael Vengersky, and placed him in reasonable fear of death or bodily injury. Specifically, Azer was arrested by Manalapan police on March 1 for allegedly following Vengersky to a Dunkin Donuts on Rt. 9 North with a black stocking …

Manalapan Man Arrested for Allegedly Exposing Himself at Knob Hill Golf Club

William Bruderek was charged with lewdness for allegedly exposing himself and masturbating in view of patrons at Knob Hill Golf Club.

A Manalapan man was arrested by police on May 4 at Knob Hill Golf Club for allegedly exposing himself, according to a police report. Officers responded to the Knob Hill Golf Club at around 8 p.m. on May 4 after receiving a report of a man inappropriately exposing himself to patrons. Upon investigation, police learned that William Bruderek, 54, exposed himself and masturbated in view of an adult patron in the parking lot of the country club, according to Manalapan police. Bruderek resisted arrest from police by running away from the investigating officers. He was ultimately located by officers and placed under arrest for lewdness, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest. Bruderek was released on his own recognizance and the case is …
