Video surveillance footage portraying the armed robber at the Manalapan CVS Pharmacy has been release by the local police department.
The Manalapan Township Police are looking for information on an unidentified man who robbed the CVS Pharmacy, located at Woodward Road and Rt. 33, early Monday morning. The man walked into the CVS Pharmacy shortly after 1 a.m. and raised a gun through a bag and advised the cashier "that she had 10 seconds," police said. The cashier filled the bag with approximately $470 in cash and fled the store. Photos captured from video surveillance cameras and the footage of the actual video surveilance have been released by the police department to help aid in the capture of the perpetrator. The perpetrator exhibited a gun and robbed a Manalapan CVS early Monday morning.
A CVS Pharmacy, located at the intersection of Woodward Rd. and Rt. 33, encountered an armed robber at approximately 1 a.m. this morning, Capt. Chris Marsala of the Manalapan Township Police Department confirmed. The identity of the perpetrator is unknown, however, police are describing him as a white male standing at an estimated height of 6'2". The robber was wearing a black ski mask and glasses at the time of the robbery. A cashier, threatened with a hand gun, turned over approximately $470 in cash to the robber, police said. The robber then fled the scene. Ptl. Turner of the Manalapan Police Department prompted the investigation.
