New Year, New Pets in Need of Homes

Four lovable and local cats and an adorable puppy are in need of forever homes.

Darnell and Confetti are two kittens up for adoption through Cuddly Creatures, Inc. Animal Rescue and Adoption - a Manalapan based animal rescue. Tinsel is also up for adoption through Cuddly Creatures Inc. For an application to adopt Darnell, Confetti, or Tinsel, please send an email to CuddlyCreaturesInc@yahoo.com.   Ernie and Hermes are available through Hope for Animals, a local animal shelter that works to help house homeless and orphaned cats. They are both obtainable at PetSmart in Manalapan Township.

2 Pups and a Kitty Need Forever Homes

The following pets are available at Cuddly Creatures Inc. Animal Rescue and Adoptions.

Wilma is approximately a year old and currently weighs about 40 lbs. She was picked up as a pregnant stray who had to give birth to her 5 puppies on the cold concrete floor of a kill shelter! What a terrible way to have to go through birth!  We were asked if we had room to take in this mother and her 5 pups, and we just couldn't say no. All five of her puppies have found forever homes and now it's her turn!   We were able to get Wilma into the safety of an out of state foster home on a temporary basis until we can either find her an approved permanent home or for someone local to offer to foster her until we can place her into a forever home here. Then we will get her transported out here to us.  She is spayed, up-to-date with her vaccines…

Boomer and Natasha: Rescued and Need New Homes

The following adoptable animals are available at Cuddly Creatures Inc. Animal Rescue and Adoptions.

Boomer is a 10-month-old, 55 lb. boy, who was rescued from living in a drain pipe under a busy highway. Boomer was a nervous wreck at the time of his capture, but remained sweet and docile towards all of his rescuers. He is extremely loving towards his foster family, as well as others who visit the home often. He takes a bit of time to realize he can trust you, but once he does, his true self comes out, which is playful and affectionate.  Boomer is a typical Shepherd and would make a great watch dog. He is very loyal to the ones he loves, is intelligent, and listens well. He is in a foster home with several other dogs of various sizes, 2 cats, and a parrot. Two Puppies Saved from Kill Shelter and Looking for Love

The following adoptable animals are available at Cuddly Creatures Inc. Animal Rescue and Adoptions.

Ginger is a 5-6 month old, 30 lb., Setter/Pointer/Lab Mix, who we took in from a high kill shelter, after seeing a picture of her sad face on a euthanasia list! We fell in love with her and made the necessary moves to get her into the safety of a foster home until we could get her here to us. She arrived in New Jersey on Oct. 26 at which time she became available to an approved home.  Ginger is very friendly - loves other dogs, rides great in the car, and is a friend to all. She's being crate trained, walking well on a leash, and is almost house trained.  She is spayed, HW negative, on HW preventatives, frontline, micro chipped, and comes with a health certificate. Two Manalapan Kittens at Freehold Petco for Adoption

Avengelyne is a friendly and playful 11-week-old kitten! She was in a foster home with a young child, 3 dogs, and another kitten for several weeks, but is now staying with other kittens at the Freehold Petco to give her more public exposure, with the hopes that someone will see her and fall in love! Avengelyne is very people friendly, and gets along great with everyone! She has already had all 3 rounds of her kitten vaccines, is Neg. for FIV/Felv, and is eligible for the $20 NJ low-cost Spay Program when she is of age to be altered, which is 6 months old, for those who adopt from us and are NJ residents. Enzo is a handsome 11-week-old puppy, who we took in from a high kill shelter.  He is a very people friendly, social, and playful pup, who would do great in an active environment.  Enzo is currently in a local foster home with children, and 3 older dogs. He loves to be babied, and is learning how it is to be in a home environment. Zeus is a God Among Dogs

Zeus' family has had to give him up due to monetary reasons and needs a new home very quickly.

Our Patch Pet of the week is Zeus, an 8-10 year old dog who is in dire need of a new home as soon as possible. Zeus' family has fallen on hard financial times and the family has an autistic child who is in need of special care. Because of this, Zeus' family had to make the heart-wrenching decision of finding him another home where he can get the care and attention he deserves. Zeus is a very amorous, playful, affectionate dog. He strives for love and attention. His favorite past time is running around in a fenced-in backyard, cuddling under a blanket, and sitting on your lap. It is officially "kitten season", when animal shelters become bombarded with kittens because cats typically give birth to kittens this time of year and their litters have reached about 8 weeks old - the age at which they are able to be adopted out. Right now, Cuddly Creatures Inc. Animal Rescue and Adoptions is inundated with kittens, according to President Alaina Yacuzzio. Woof! Maggie and Paris Need Your Love

Cuddly Creatures Animal Rescue and Adoptions of Manalapan has two new dogs up for adoption.

Maggie is a 1-2 yr. old, 34lb., friendly and super happy girl, who we took in from a high-kill shelter that we sometimes take animals in from! Maggie's former owner handed this poor girl off to a neighbor when they were moving, telling them that they couldn't take Maggie with them to their new home. The neighbor then dropped this sweet girl off at the local kill shelter, to meet an uncertain fate! We saw Maggie's picture, and couldn't resist taking this love bug into the rescue, and helping her to find a wonderful new life! Maggie is now in one of our NJ foster homes where she is residing with other dogs, cats, and birds.
