Over $9K Worth of Jewelry Stolen from Two Manalapan Homes

A Crawford Road and West Canadian Woods home were burglarized and jewelry was stolen.

Two home burglaries within Manalapan Township have resulted in the theft of $9,050 worth of jewelry, the Manalapan Police Department has reported. Several pieces of jewelry, estimated at $6,800, were stolen from a Crawford Road home sometime between Nov. 22 and Nov. 25, according to the victim of the theft. The victim, a woman, told police that the jewelry belonged to her deceased mother. The woman also indicated to police that multiple home health care aids were within the home during the time of the theft. The burglary was reported to police on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
