Four juveniles were allegedly shot at by two other juveniles, police said.
Two Manalapan adolescents were arrested by police for reportedly shooting other juveniles with BB guns on the evening of Monday, May 6 on Wilson Avenue, according to police. The two boys were shooting at four boys with spring loaded plastic pellet guns; three of the boys were struck with the pellets and suffered injury, police said. Englishtown police already apprehended the minors when Manalapan police arrived at the scene. The two boys were arrested, processed, and released to their parents. Four pellet guns used in the shooting were seized as evidence. This case is currently being reviewed by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Christina Cali, 21, of Manalapan, was arrested and charged with hit and run and assault by auto.
A 21-year-old Manalapan woman was arrested after an alleged hit and run and assault by auto on Taylors Mills Road near Route 9 on the evening of Monday, April 22, police said. Ptl. Dan Carey of the Manalapan Police Department investigated the incident and learned that the driver of the vehicle, Christina Cali, was involved in a motor vehicle crash and attempted to strike the other driver with her vehicle while fleeing the scene. Cali was arrested and charged with criminal attempt and assault by auto. She was served with a warrant for $1,000 bail and posted it. Cali was then transported to CentraState Medical Center in Freehold for evaluation.

Manalapan police are looking for information about two men who reportedly assaulted and robbed a local high school student.
A Manalapan High School student was stabbed with a knife and robbed of his cell while sitting within a car with the windows down on Heron Court last week, police said. Police are looking for two black men who reportedly walked up to the vehicle, stabbed the driver, and stole his cell phone on Tuesday, April 23. The victim, a 17-year-old white male of Manalapan, and the passenger of the car, a 16-year-old white male of Manalapan, began chasing the two suspects as they ran towards Tracy Station Road on foot, but stopped once police arrived on the scene. The patrolmen searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. According to police, the victims were not acquainted with the attackers. The two suspects were described as black …

Two Manalapan men were arrested after allegedly attempting to help one driver assault the other driver.
A car accident on Tuesday, April 16 developed into an attempted assault between the two drivers and then a scuffle between police and two other men. When police arrived at the scene of the car accident on Church Lane, witnesses said that one of the drivers attempted to assault the other, but that several people intervened. Then, several men exited another car and attempted to join the assailant in harming the other driver. According to police, officers attempted to calm the men down and one of the men, a 17-year-old of Manalapan, began acting in a menacing manner towards a police officer. Manalapan saw a 24 percent decrease in crime in March of this year when compared to 2012. In February 2013, the New Jersey State Police Uniform Crime Reporting Unit began providing comparative crime data for municipalities and counties. The data is updated every week, or as often as municipalities provide fresh numbers. A residential burglary and attempted residential burglary took place during the day.
The Manalapan Police Department have reported one home burglary and one attempted burglary in Manalapan. ------------------------- A 73-year-old Manalapan woman told police that her Steward Lane home was burglarized during the day on Wednesday, April 10. The woman told police that she left at 9:45 a.m. and returned home at 12:30 p.m. When she arrived home she saw that her bedroom light was on and her dresser drawers were open, according to police. Jewelry and $350 in cash were stolen from the woman’s bedroom. There were no signs of entry into the home, police said. ------------------------- Ptl. Two newer vehicles were stolen from Manalapan driveways in early April.
The Manalapan Police Department have reported that two cars have been stolen in early April. A 2013 BMW 550XI, valued at approximately $85,000, was reported stolen from a Taylor Lake Court driveway during the overnight hours between Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6. The owner of the vehicle, a 51-year-old Manalapan man, told police that the car was left unlocked with the key fob left inside. A 2013 Mercedes Benz ML 350 was reported stolen from the driveway of his Manalapan residence during the overnight hours between Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2. The key fob was reportedly left inside of the vehicle. Please remember to keep your vehicles locked and your keys and key fobs inside of your home.

The tools stolen were valued at about $2,500.
A large variety of tools were reported stolen from the Battleground Country Club maintenance building, according to Manalapan Police. An employee of the Battleground Country Club told police that the theft took place at some point between 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2 and 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3. The tools that were stolen were value at approximately $2,500. According to police, the intruder entered the maintenance building through an unlocked window at the rear of the building. This theft is still under investigation.

A vendor was assaulted while a Franklin Lakes man stole some electronic items.
A Franklin Lakes man was arrested by Manalapan police for allegedly assaulting a vendor at Englishtown Auction and stealing several electronic devices on Sunday, April 14. Athelstan Jarrett, 18, was charged with robbery and theft of removable property by unlawful taking. According to an arrest warrant issued by the Manalapan Police Department, Jarrett grabbed the neck of an Englishtown Auction vendor and punched him the face causing him to fall to the ground while Jarrett was in the course of committing theft. Jarrett allegedly took a Samsung Netbook and a Nintendo Wii from an Englishtown Auction Sales vendor. The Wii is valued at $200 and the Samsung Netbook is valued at $300.
