Rich Pinnola, Chris Motola, Mike Pinnola, and Bryan Guerron of the band Mindless Mission were recognized for volunteering to play at the Special Needs Valentine's Day Dance.
The Manalapan Township Committee officially thanked Mindless Mission, a pop-punk band, for performing at the Manalapan Special Needs Valentine’s Dance. The dance was a part of the Manalapan Special Needs Council’s Saturday Night Out Program, which sponsors an evening out once a month for Township resident young adults with developmental disabilities. The Manalapan Special Needs Council is a volunteer organization that deals with all of the township’s special needs issues. The Township Committee tabled paying the Burke Farm purchase order to Monmouth County until their next meeting.
The Manalapan Township Committee tabled paying Monmouth County $186,969.10, their portion of the farmland preservation project for sitting Committeeman Andrew Lucas’ Burke Farm, at their meeting Wednesday night. Township Committeeman Ryan Green made the motion to table the item on the bill list because he said he was not comfortable with the documentation the Township has on the matter. He also said he was not able to fully overlook certain documentation, including a “somewhat hastily sent-out” email containing a 19-page document that the State Agriculture Development Committee (SADC) sent over to the Township Wednesday morning. A Thanksgiving Thank You from the Manalapan Township Committee: The Mayor and Township Committee would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers and staff of Manalapan Township during the recent storm emergencies. Rick Hogan our Emergency Management Coordinator and his team worked tirelessly to ensure the residents of Manalapan were safe during the emergency. Dave Richardson, our Health Officer alongside Kim Silverstein and the dedicated volunteers of the Medical Reserve Corp-Community Emergency Response Team (MRC-CERT) ensured that the shelters were up and running for over two weeks and that the needs of the residents were met as soon as possible. I do not usually agree with Mr. Green but since the state sent a 19 page email requesting more information on " resolving 14 issues on this application" Why would our mayor and Mr, Holland vote for it??
