Hope for Animals is showcasing three cuddly cats up for adoption in Manalapan.
This week's adoptable cats come from Hope for Animals, a local animal rescue that finds home for orphaned cats and kittens. Two of these cats, Katrina and Sable, came from a home that was housing over 60 cats a couple of years ago. They were among the 48 cats that survived the tragic hoarding situation and are now completely healthy. Katrina and Sable are looking for an indoor-only forever home. The third cat, Beauty, is about 1-year-old and found at the back door of a salon in South Brunswick. She is up to date with all vaccinations and a true sweetheart. My dog, she hates getting a shower. Every other week, me and her stand under the blasting warm water while I spread the shampoo over her wet dog hair. She stands still in the corner slightly shaking till it's all over. I tell her all the time while I'm spreading the shampoo through her hair that, afterwards, we'll get her a treat. Or treats. She looks up at me and turns her head like she's listening, like she understands. So, today I tell her that I'll take her shopping since she's such a good girl. Maybe we'll even run into some other doggies and she can make a friend or two. After the shower, me smelling like wet dog and her smelling like wet human, we jump in the car and head to PetSmart in Manalapan. . .to go shopping with my dog. From…
