$500 in tools were stolen from the business, police said.
The AA Auto Care Center at the Valero Gas Station on Route 33 was burglarized for a second time within two weeks, Manalapan police have reported. The business was burglarized during the overnight hours between Sunday, April 28 and Monday, April 29 when someone broke into the AA Auto Care Center through the garage bay door and stole various tools valued at about $500. The AA Auto Care Center was previously burglarized during the overnight hours between Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17. Entrance was also gained by forcing open the garage bay door, according to police. A Snap On diagnostic tool valued at $1,000 and $200 in change were stolen. Two drawers containing $500 were stolen from Five Guys Burgers & Fries in Manalapan Township.
A Manalapan man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly robbing Five Guys Burgers & Fries restaurant last month, police reported. Eric Glantz, 25, of Appaloosa Drive, gained entry to the Route 9 establishment by forcing open the rear doors on Wednesday, April 10 at around 11:15 p.m., according to Manalapan police. Two drawers were removed from the business which contained $500 in cash, police said. Glantz was arrested by Detective Peter Chalfin after a lengthy investigation by the investigations bureau of the Manalapan Police Department uncovered Glatnz's implication in the commercial burglary. Glantz was charged with burglary, theft, and criminal trespass. His bail was set at $46,000 with no 10 percent option and remanded in Monmouth County …

A Brooklyn man pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone in federal court Wednesday.
A Brooklyn man pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Freda L. Wolfson in Trenton federal court to his involvement in a plot to burglarize the Union Hill-Supremo Pharmacy in Englishtown, U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman announced Wednesday. James Zarbailov, 22, was charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute oxycodone. The pharmacy, located within Marlboro Township, was burglarized shortly before 4 a.m. on June 17, 2012 by Zarbailov and fellow conspirators. According to court documents, they filled 17 garbage bags and two cardboard boxes with merchandise from the pharmacy, including approximately 1,988 dosage units of methylphenidate, 500 dosage units of hydromorphone, 300 dosage units of Opana…
Three assailants approached the man, assaulted him, and stole his cell phone, police said.
Another man was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone in Manalapan less than a week after a Manalapan High School student was stabbed and robbed of his cell phone, according to police. A 24-year-old Freehold Township man was attacked and robbed of his cell phone by three individuals at around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, police said. The victim told police that three white men approached his car on Union Hill Road, had him step from the vehicle, and then punched him in the face and stole his cell phone. The cell phone is valued at $200. This incident is currently under investigation by Ptl. Jeff Emslie of the Manalapan Police Department. A fight between two men took place in front of a large group of juveniles at a flag football game, according to police.
Two men have filed citizen complaints against one another after becoming involved in a physical altercation during a children’s flag football game at the Manalapan Recreation Center on Friday, April 26. Manalapan police were dispatched to the scene in regard to the reported assault, but did not sign complaints as the parties involved had conflicting stories and both claimed to be the victim, according to Captain Michael Fountain. Manalapan resident Samuel Engel, 33, filed one charge against Nelson Rivera, 45, of Freehold, for simple assault. According to Manalapan Court Administrator Daniella Trancho, Engel said that Rivera punched him in the head and face, knocked him to the ground and kicked him in the head. The Monmouth County Grand Jury indicted David Kupratis for allegedly stealing cash and credit cards in Manalapan Township.
An Old Bridge man was indicted by the Monmouth County Grand Jury last week for allegedly stealing money from someone in Manalapan. David Kupratis, 28, stole over $500 in cash and two credit cards from one person between October 6, 2011 and January 11, 2012, according to the indictment. Kupratis reportedly used the credit cards at various locations within Manalapan Township within this time period. Kupratis was indicted on one count of theft of movable property and one count of forgery.

Christina Cali, 21, of Manalapan, was arrested and charged with hit and run and assault by auto.
A 21-year-old Manalapan woman was arrested after an alleged hit and run and assault by auto on Taylors Mills Road near Route 9 on the evening of Monday, April 22, police said. Ptl. Dan Carey of the Manalapan Police Department investigated the incident and learned that the driver of the vehicle, Christina Cali, was involved in a motor vehicle crash and attempted to strike the other driver with her vehicle while fleeing the scene. Cali was arrested and charged with criminal attempt and assault by auto. She was served with a warrant for $1,000 bail and posted it. Cali was then transported to CentraState Medical Center in Freehold for evaluation.

Manalapan police arrested a Freehold man for allegedly damaging another person's vehicle.
A Freehold man reportedly caused nearly $3,000 worth of damage to a car parked within Manalapan Township last week. Manalapan police arrested Eric Keys, 23, of Freehold, and charged him with criminal mischief for purposely damaging another person’s motor vehicle on Friday, April 26. According to Manalapan police, Keys kicked both exterior rearview mirrors, keyed the paint on the vehicle, broke both rear lamp covers, and pulled off the right rear bumper. Keys is currently remanded in Monmouth County Jail with bail set at $7,500.
Manalapan police are looking for information about two men who reportedly assaulted and robbed a local high school student.
A Manalapan High School student was stabbed with a knife and robbed of his cell while sitting within a car with the windows down on Heron Court last week, police said. Police are looking for two black men who reportedly walked up to the vehicle, stabbed the driver, and stole his cell phone on Tuesday, April 23. The victim, a 17-year-old white male of Manalapan, and the passenger of the car, a 16-year-old white male of Manalapan, began chasing the two suspects as they ran towards Tracy Station Road on foot, but stopped once police arrived on the scene. Two Manalapan men were arrested after allegedly attempting to help one driver assault the other driver.
A car accident on Tuesday, April 16 developed into an attempted assault between the two drivers and then a scuffle between police and two other men. When police arrived at the scene of the car accident on Church Lane, witnesses said that one of the drivers attempted to assault the other, but that several people intervened. Then, several men exited another car and attempted to join the assailant in harming the other driver. According to police, officers attempted to calm the men down and one of the men, a 17-year-old of Manalapan, began acting in a menacing manner towards a police officer.
