Bonnie Rappel Hair Artistry and Valina Salon and Day Spa rolled up big vote totals in our survey.
Congratulations to Bonnie Rappel Hair Artistry in Marlboro and Valina Salon and Day Spa in Marlboro for emerging as clear Patch favorites in this week's Readers' Choice survey of hair salons in Marlboro, Manalapan and Englishtown. Bonnie Rappel Hair Artistry drew more than 2,600 votes and Valina Salon and Day Spa more than 2,100 in our unscientific poll. While multiple voting is possible in the survey, the high numbers, comments and other feedback we received made it clear that both salons enjoy passionate support. Income tax time is not exactly fun time and our Readers Choice poll on favorite tax preparers didn't get much love. We only received seven votes and H&R Block of Marlboro received 3 of them so we're declaring them the Patch favorite. Congratulations as well to Leonard Emmerman, CPA, CFP (Marlboro), who had two votes. And hey, to all of you whose tax preparers got you a refund or lowered your payment, let them know you appreciate them.

They topped the vote in this week's Readers' Choice survey.
Congratulations to Mahzu Japanese Restaurant of Freehold and KONBU of Manalapan. They were the top vote-getters in this week's Readers' Choice survey of Sushi places in western Monmouth County. Voting in our unscientific poll closed at 9 a.m. Friday but you can still add reviews of your favorites to their listings in our directory. Movement Dance Centre and Center of Dance Art rolled up big vote totals in our survey
Congratulations to Movement Dance Centre in Manalapan and Center of Dance Art in Morganville for emerging as clear Patch favorites in this week's Readers' Choice survey of dance studios in Marlboro, Manalapan and Englishtown. Movement Dance drew more than 10,000 votes and Center of Dance Art more than 5,000 in our unscientific poll.
