Manalapan Man Indicted on Drug and Firearm Possession Charges
The man was allegedly attempting to sell the drugs and on a list restricting him of owning a firearm.
Richard Riccardi, of Manalapan Township, was indicted by the Monmouth County Grand Jury for allegedly possessing marijuana, intending to distribute the drug, and being in possession of a firearm illegally. According to the indictment issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Riccardi, 40, was found to be in possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, including any adulterants and dilutants, on November 3, 2011 in Manalapan. He also allegedly intended to distribute one ounce of the marijuana, according to the indictment. The Longstreet Road resident was also found to be in possession of a firearm while committing the alleged drug offense.
