If you have any extra pet supplies lying around, consider donating them to animals in need. The Manalapan Township Teen Leadership Committee will be holding a "Pet Supplies Drive" this Saturday, April 27 between 9 a.m. and noon to benefit the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). Items being collected include: A collection box will be located in the lobby of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building and will be labeled for the pet supplies drive.
iPlay America will host Fur Ball on April 21
The Monmouth County SPCA will be the beneficiary of a fundraiser hosted by a local amusement park this upcoming weekend. iPlay America, an indoor theme park located at 110 Schanck Rd. in Freehold, will host the annual "Monmouth County SPCA Fur Ball" at its Encore Event Center on Saturday, April 21 at 6 p.m. For $150, guests can enjoy fine dining, an open bar, an auction, and live music by Brian Kirk and the Jirks. Tamsen Fudel of the PIX11 Morning News will serve as host and all of the event's proceeds will go directly to the Monmouth County SPCA in Eatontown.
