Pound the Pavement in Manalapan's Run for Water 5K
The race is being held on Saturday, July 13 at Monmouth Battlefield State Park.
The fifth annual Run for Water 5K is coming to Monmouth Battlefield State Park of Manalapan this Saturday. The race benefits Water for People, a nonprofit organization that raises money to provide developing countries in Africa, Latin America, and Asia with clean drinking water, adequate sanitation and hygiene education.
This year the race will also include a 50-yard Toddler Dash and a Half-Mile Fun Run/Walk.
Registration fees are $20 for the 5K and $12 for the Fun Run. Participants can register online at www.active.com by Friday or on race day. On race day, registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the Toddler Dash at 8:30 a.m., the Fun Run/Walk at 8:45 a.m. and the 5K race at 9 a.m.
